Hi, i really need some guidance. Im 26 and because of lack of work during covid- being a freshly graduated college student, medical issues, and in a bad relationship where I had to compensate rent for my ex, I have accumulated this amount of debt on a discover card and an amazon chase credit card. I work now, at a law firm, making $17/hr. I’ve been contacted by debt relief things wanting to buy my debt, but I’m scared of the prospect of owing money forever. My rent is around $838 per month, and i haven’t been using the cards, i just can’t see a clear way out of this. I just feel like I’m drowning and that it will never get any better. I don’t know where to go or who to turn to.
