Hello all!
I'm currently at an impasse in my life, as I'm turning 22 and want to explore my options. I have accepted an offer to George Brown for Interior Design. I choose this school because my friend went their for culinary studies and it seems like a great creative college, honestly I like the vibe.
My problem is that I have not heard much online about this program and I'm worried that I'm not gonna get the education that I want out George Brown. I am interested in decorating and want to open my own firm with the goal of helping people design their home the way that suits their aesthetic and life style. You may ask 'Why don't you just do a decorating certificate?'. It's because I feel like a degree would better prepare me for the technical side of things.
Has anyone got any advice for me? Should I apply at a different College or branch out into University? I have also applied at Humber, but have not submitted the portfolio yet. Is the workload hard? What should I expect in terms of school work? I just want peace of mind knowing what I'm getting myself into.
