Hello! Anyone able to offer some advice to this learner
So for some context, I do not come from a financially literate family and have had difficulty saving up until a few years ago. I had been putting away at least £200 a month save for a couple of emergency months where I had to dip in.
I have around £9k saved, and my monthly income ranges from 800-1200. I’m a minimum wage barista, whilst having side hustles, building a passive income and a music service business, as well as being a freelance content writer on the side. I know I haven’t chosen a lucrative lifestyle but I’d like some advice on what I can do. I soend about £400 on rent/bills too.
Currently I have £8.6k sitting in a help to buy ISA (I don’t think I’ll be buying a place any time soon) and would like to grow it, or have it somewhere where it might be more useful.
Other than that, if anyone has any tips on growing the side hustles or your own business would be really appreciated. Even if it’s philosophies, mindsets or anything. If someone can point me to a book on beginner finance advice that would be great.
Thanks :)
