So why should we give them any money when we could just go ahead and make our own with AI instead?
You shouldn't. As we've seen, this ends up as blatant theft from real artists and focuses solely on cheapening everything. It's best to just move on and go with someone better.
Classic case of goodwill with people and then tear it down once you got the money
