Hello, I am in my mid-20s and I graduated in Industrial Tech majoring in drafting and digital graphics. Our course mostly teaches us about drafting, introduction to interior design and architecture, 2d and 3d software. And I do have an interest in Arch Visualization and 3d modeling/rendering I have lots of samples(wont say they're the best), won a contest, and have a year of part-time experience in a small company.
I want to pursue Arch Vis as a freelance but I'm not really that knowledgeable in terms of architecture and interior design rules and laws. I mostly know how to design them with the guidance of a professional, and based on basic rules and preferences.
I resigned as a newspaper layout artist since I want to pursue Arch Vis and current side job. I am currently working a side job that's reasonable to give me time, and money. It's actually my no.1 priority to pursue... Arch Vis being a second option in case this side job fails, although I can still use arch vis knowledge in my side job.
I plan to work full time on this side job and also work as freelance or study in Arch Vis. Am I being too ambitious?
So I would like to ask if this plan is ok? If it is... where do I start? Is there specifics of what should I study or do first so I can be a more effective Arch Viz/3d model designer? And I would appreciate it if you send me some online courses I can check out. Thank you very much this has been stressing me out for weeks.
