Long story short, I was on vacation away from home and had to have some dental work done emergently. They say me down with their billing department and explained this is what the cost will be and mapped everything out. It was gonna be $3400 out of pocket after insurance as they submitted pre authorization and this is what they got back. I needed the work done so I agreed. It was a great vacation. (/s)
Now it's been over a year later and in the mail I have a bill for another $400 with a discount of $300. How can they bill for a procedure extra money past their agreed upon amount? Am I responsible for this extra amount or is this an attempt to get more?
