I work at a law firm as a paralegal. I work out of coffee shops or the courthouse frequently, which means I'm connected to public WiFi networks a lot. I got a VPN to protect the sensitive client information I'm handling. I don't turn it off after work, so I guess I do use it for personal use as well. I didn't get it at my boss's request, I just thought it was a good idea. Is that a valid thing to write off on my taxes?
