Hello, My last employer told me I was unable to qualify for their 401ks due to my age (19) and I was okay with that. I quit in August, then recently I received a letter saying I had a 401k account with Charles Schwab and I had apparently contributed over 2,000$. In this same letter it says my money was withdrawn. It also came with a 1099 tax form for the remaining 1,200$ since they took an almost 900$ penalty. I looked on their website and tried to create an account but it tells me I need extra account information and I don't see it anywhere on the letter. I am going to call today but I'm not sure what to say or what to ask for? I appreciate everyone for taking the time to read this
