Hello All,
I was just doing my taxes for 2023 and had to login to the broker's (T. Rowe price) account to see how much we converted in 2023 from traditional into Roth IRA, when I noticed that my husband's 2024 contribution had state (state of MI) tax withheld. I clearly remember choosing not to have federal tax withheld, but don't remember any mention of state. Is this typical or did I miss something? Is this fixable? This is our second year of doing backdoor Roth IRAs. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated.
