Hello, first time poster! :) Please help!
I moved into this place a while back, but have just been using the furniture that was already in the apartment. I have been needing to get a desk for me that works for me as the one I am currently using is not big enough for my needs. The home office space I am working with is one room (that is supposed to be a bedroom). Right now, there is a dresser (which we keep miscellaneous items in), three 42" desks (all exactly the same), and two lamps. Since it is technically a bedroom, there is also a closet that takes up some of the room. Another person lives with me and also uses this room as their office.
I am wanting to completely re-organize this space to become a more functional and productivity-promoting environment, so I came up with a design plan which would require me to buy some furniture. I am wondering if it is worth the effort and if the idea for the layout I came up with is any good or if I'm missing something. I would appreciate any advice you all have to offer! I modeled it on planyourroom with some additions in paint. Actual desk is not final and if there are suggestions for those, that would also be great. I understand that we do not identify specific products, so I was moreso wondering if there's any type of desk setup that I may have missed/looked over or good quality company that I may have not heard of. Both of us use a monitor. Only the other person has a desktop, but I was thinking of upgrading to one at some point within the next two years or so. I have also been playing with the idea of a rest space/casual work space which is what the comfy area on the right is.
