I'm getting a lot of notices in LinkedIn about advisors or firms that just made the Barrons "Best of" list. But they always fail to highlight that the rankings do not take performance into account.
And, curiously, the list is heavily weighted to advisors with larger practices as one of the criteria is "Revenue"... can someone explain why I would want to judge a financial advisor by their revenues?
