Hi everyone, So long story short i have really shitty parents that haven’t taught me anything so I resort to reddit for every life decision. lollll Anyway, I’m planning to buy a car. I haven’t decided on anything yet but ideally, I would like a vehicle from Toyota or Subaru. Fyi, I’m 22 years old. Never bought a car. Have a credit score of 721, planning to get it higher before I do this of course. I have a steady income but not anything spectacular. But I want to have as much knowledge as possible before starting the actual process. I need advice on these things:
- What I NEED to know as a young, 1st time car buyer?
- What is an ideal down payment? (Ex: Toyota Prius 2024)
- Car insurance. What do I look for? Best way to go about it?
- How to not be overran by the sales rep / what not to say or do
- Any advice at all, the more, the better!!
IM SORRY. I KNOW NOTHING, I KNOW. But please be kind :) and help a sister out. Thank you in advance!
