Summary
Since 2018, the Hinduja Foundation has been on a mission to deliver water and restore India's traditional water systems. The Foundation has restored 100 lakes and over 20,000 open wells.
While traditional water systems are being restored, the Hinduja Foundation has also addressed immediate clean water needs. Installing more than 200 RO machines, gravity filters, and rainwater harvesting tanks has directly brought safe, potable water to rural homes, schools, and health centres.
Hydrological assessments and training programs precede each restoration effort for villagers to maintain the systems. Women's self-help groups (SHGs) often manage the water infrastructure, reinforcing their economic and social empowerment.
Join the Hinduja family's journey to revive water heritage, targeting a billion litres to ensure sustainable water solutions and preserve our vital resources.
