Why does it still weirdly look like CGI!?
I'm with you. If I didn't see the behind the scenes, I Would have thought this whole thing as generated.
It's definitely got that uncanny valley look
Looks like the behind the scenes clarifies there is a tiny bit of CGI with the splicing of the two takes together
It does but that doesn't make it CGI just a cut and splice
