So my dumb ass accidentally bought ETFs for S&P500 short and sold like 4 months later (feel free to laugh). But because I sold stocks, even though I lost $100 or so, I can't use the free version of turbotax. Are dishing out the $120 bucks + state tax return costs and doing the whole thing by hand my only choices?
(my AGI is less than 79k, but I tried ezTaxReturn and it said my 1099 forms were too complicated)
