Summary
This is a very clever idea via Arthur Corenzan. Rather than use the default YouTube embed, use the little tiny placeholder webpage. It still behaves essentially exactly the same: click, play video in place.

I've seen this approach struggle on mobile before. Had it been fixed now?
Tested out the examples on my device before posting and it looks like support is great. Would need someone to confirm on iOS.
