Looking for insight - mid 20’s (financial portfolio)
A first post for me (leaning more on the personal side).
Currently need some insight into my financial status, and would love any help or direction potentially.
I’m 24 yrs old, no debt, no car payment, and roughly close to 100k invested in the market (75% in large market cap crypto actually, 15% amongst ETF’s).
10k that I rolled over into a traditional IRA (form my previous employer 401k).
I have roughly 15k in the bank + 30k coming in the next week or so.
I’ve never been one to ask too much, usually take too much pride in being able to “understand the market” and make those decisions on my own (but recently, have been a tad emotional / depressed with some of the significant losses I’ve experienced investing, primarily crypto - upwards of 50-75k).
Clearly shown haha, I have a higher risk mentality, which led me to acquire a larger sum for my age (on average) - while also being in the finance / fintech field professionally.
Currently, I’m an independent consultant (which ranges at times, project to project, but monthly income is at ~8500 - $9,000).
I try to invest 20-25% (or more) of income each month.
Never dealt with this in past few years, but lately trying to tackle the mental anguish of “what I could have right now…” from holding positions long enough or just being more patient.
Any mental tips on how handle this, or any insight at all?
