So a weird thing happened. MrCooper is my new loan provider since 2 months. A month ago I was due for insurance renewal. The premium went up so I decided to make some policy adjustments bringing the premium down from $1886 to $1755. (Bringing it down by $132). I uploaded this new adjusted policyto mrcooper and they promptly sent the $1755 to travelers. After 7 days though, they sent an amount of $131 to travelers as well, much to my surprise.
Now in the travelers side I look at the account and it shows the $131 credited but it shows nothing about the $1755. So I am really confused.
Now travelers tells me I have 3 weeks to pay the amount of $1624 for my policy.
What should I do? Ask mrcooper to do a stop payment on the check for $1755 and pay travelers myself? Call travelers and ask them the status of the check?
Other questions:
- does MrCooper normally send a single check per account or a lump of multiple payments in one check to travelers?
- has anyone face anything bizarre as this before?
Thank you very much!
