We already did all of this below, but anything else we are missing?
Checked credit reports for fraudulent accounts (and will keep checking)
Changed all passwords, uses a password manager, and has 2fa (code generator preferred) for all accounts (banks, vanguard, venmo, etc)
Cell phone company uses pin to prevent slamming/cell phone sim swap takeover
Frozen all credit with the big 3 and the little known 4th (innovis)
Physically checked to make sure can account for all credit cards, debit cards, checks.
Anything else that's best practice after a scare like this? with enough hacks I'm sure his SSN/DOB/address/shoe size is on the dark web. I'm sure almost everyone has their info leaked and sold. So seems smart to try and make that info as unusable as possible.
