I have opened an account and started investing in ETFs. For ~8 years I only had mutual funds (23 yo only atm), which i still hold and plan to separately invest.
I have invested only around 2,5k so far with
- 1k into VUAA
- 1k into UST
- 500 to buy nvidia
Context about me regarding investing
- I plan to invest into ETFs around 200-300€ monthly
- I am tech focused and follow the latest news
- living and working in Europe, Slovakia
- stock as Nvidia I plan only to buy as an “unfulfilled” gift ( if i want to buy something really stupid for 300euros, I hold back and buy some stock instead)
- At 50/60 I want to switch everything to dividend yielding stocks/etfs
My questions are:
- Should I sell UST and for now invest 100% into VUAA?
- If I want to create a critical reserve of money account (6months of income) should I create a new broker account ?
- What split should I look for when I am at the 50k milestone ?
Thank you very much
