Summary

The 17-acre property in Charlottesville, Virginia, was built in the 1970s. The home was sold to a woman who is now running her own business.

When the house was first built, provisions were put in place for a future resident to finish a raw space above the garage. This iteration carved a game room out of this unfinished zone to give the siblings a bonding spot of their own.

In this week’s edition of CNN’S iReport, we take a look at some of the best photos of the year from around the world. This week”s featured photo is of a woman in a bikini, wearing a bright pink dress.

Chloe Ball is the owner of Kenny Ball Design in Charlottesville, Virginia. She says she and the architect, John Peterson, worked together on the project.
