Summary
Official PSN Service Status page now says that the network is fully functional. But there are still numerous user reports coming in about being booted from various online games.
Some PS4 and PS5 users have been able to download the latest version of the PS4 software. The software has been updated to include the latest features.
Update #6 now fast approaching 12 hours of total PSN downtime. Outside of standard acknowledgements on social media, PlayStation is yet to release any kind of additional information on the outage.
The PlayStation Network has been down for more than an hour. The network has been experiencing problems with the power supply. The problem is expected to be fixed soon.
The official PSN Service Status page says that there are no issues at this time. We'll have to wait and see if that's true, but it's unlikely.
