Hi all, new to the thread and hoping someone can give me advice.
I’m 29, National guard, deployments under my belt, work a full time job about 50hr/wk at $22/hr installing pellet/wood/and gas inserts for a micro business (4 employees, thousands of customers). $0 in savings, $1500 in checking, about $2k in Thrift Savings Plan (TSP).
I have a baby due August 31, a girlfriend who doesn’t work, has significant savings but won’t contribute to the household beyond her food stamps/WIC (which technically I’m paying for with taxes). I’ve got a 2019 Tacoma I bought when I came back from deployment I’m underwater on (Value $23k, owe $25k), credit cards piling up ($6k), a personal loan ($4k) and more. Mortgage was a family deal so only $735/month thank god. Electric, water, every utility is on me. I bring home roughly $800/week after taxes with OT.
I have an entire spreadsheet worked out with everything. I’d love to talk to someone and see what they’d do in my situation. I’m stressed tf out. Please help
