Alyssa Diaz said she wants to see what happens with Lucy and Tim in Season 7. The ladies also said that Season 7 will spend more time at home with the officers and detectives of the LAPD’s Mid-Wilshire Division. The Rookie closed out last season with a final that brought back several characters from the series’ spinoff, The Rookie: Feds.
Cox and Diaz say fans have been clamoring for a "Cop Moms" spin-off. "It’s about them being moms, being cops," Diaz says. "The Rookie" premieres on Sunday, September 16. "Cop" is a comedy-drama.
