Summary

Nora Witzigmann fell in love with the city with its old palazzi, narrow streets, and glittering waterways around eight years ago. She spends as much time as possible in this fabled Italian city, regardless of the time of year.

Nora took her time with the interior; unlike projects for clients, there was no deadline with this one. For a long time, the only thing in the bedroom was a secondhand Tobias Scarpa bed from the 1950s.

Nora is an expert in vintage decor and her Venetian apartment is full of furniture with fascinating pedigrees. Contrary to what you might think, Venice is an extremely punctual and efficient city, says Nora.

Nora's apartment is in one of Venice’s quieter neighborhoods. Her family always celebrates Christmas in the city now. The bathroom has views of the rooftops of Venice.

That must have been an amazing feeling to have "no deadline with this one." Can't imagine having the freedom to just be absolutely creative with a space!

Based on the look of this, I'd say it was very well worth it!!
