This reason is why that whole self help "you just need to work harder" mentality bothers me so much. The rich got everything on a golden platter and that'd why the get to focus on such bullshit. The every man has to work.
The sooner people accept this, the sooner we can move start moving forward on legislation that helps everyone. We shouldn't be focusing on ourselves being "temporarily embarrassed millionaires" and just accept we all need help to make a better life.
I think AOCs tweet put it succinctly: billionaires shouldn't exist when people are starving
Eh... It's kind of a no brainer take.
You also have people defending billionaires to the death though
It's celebrity worship at it's core and not something that will get changed easily
