Hi, not sure if this the right place to ask, but I was wondering what others would do in my scenario. We purchased a new Nissan Rogue in 2018 and as of this January, we paid off the full amount (yay!). We are a bit healthier financially and my wife is returning to work since our kids are older.
Nissan generally has lower resale value and checking KBB, I see that estimates are 12Kish. Thinking long-term, would you prefer to sell the car as-is right now and purchase another car with higher resale value (thinking Toyota/Honda) or would you just keep driving the Rogue for another five-plus years until its time to buy a new car?
