Folks, we are considering this design for a wardrobe makeover. The carpenter feels we can achieve this finish only with paint and not mica.
We like a classic, timeless design, so we picked this design. The rest of the furnishings in the room are primarily white: the IKEA Billy bookcase and a writing table.
I wanted to take some expert advice: would painted wardrobe doors look cheap compared to using a good quality mica? Is painting the only way to achieve this finish?
