We're in the final stages of a home remodel and trying to determine what to do for the backsplash.
It seems if we do the same backsplash throughout, it'll make the space feel larger since it'll be consistent and tie everything together. However, the space is fairly large and given how the prep sink area is disconnected from the rest of the kitchen, would it make sense to make more of an accent wall-type backsplash in the prep sink area (around the entire window)?
For the main area, we're leaning towards a simple and more timeless backsplash (white subway tile or a take on that).
However, we also like the concrete, slate, or geometric look (in moderation) so we were wondering if that would be weird or not around the prep sink (around the entire window).
In terms of colors. The cabinets are white and the island cabinets are dark blue (similar to images). The pulls are black on the white cabinets and gold on the island. The flooring is similar to what's in the images.
