I'm a programmer and for a long time I've been encountering problems with the platforms I often use to write my articles on programming and technology. So I decided to get my hands dirty and built a website that has received a considerable number of visits in just 4 months. That's why I'm here to invite more people who would like to write articles about programming (theoretical and practical) and technology to register on my website. https://chat-to.dev

I'm happy to upvote these to get people more interested in programming and for more junior developers to further their learning, but I have an issue with most of the articles on the site only getting about 1/4th of the way of what their title proposes. Things like these need more meat to explain why you're doing what you're doing and why you wouldn't go a different way. For example, the very first article on the site "Implementing automated tests in your application" doesn't really get me anywhere aside from providing me an extremely basic idea of some frameworks to use and possibly a directory structure for my tests. Let's say I chose Jest as my framework, I have no idea how to install it and use it nor do I have any idea how to actually tie it into my development workflow aside from knowing that maybe I should.

I think this could be a great idea but it needs more.

in fact, that's why we need more contributions, more people registered on the site, and the people who can do that are people like you, who don't just come to criticize, but show the positive side of things. But I must also tell you that we have over 100 posts so far and most of them are quite complete. I invite you to take a look at the other articles on the site. Thank you

I'll be honest, I think some of these are neat to think about but I struggle to call a lot of them articles. An example of one that comes to mind was the one posted a a couple weeks ago. Six bullet points of extremely vague substance with two large gifs is not helpful at all for someone wanting to get into programming.

the gifs are just elements that give the article a relaxed air, that's all
